He became one of the contributors to the team's championship. The series batting average was as high as 33%, and he was finally selected as Wei Quanlong's outstanding player.

Before the first game of the Taiwan Competition, Zhang Zhengyu showed off his new hairstyle with four braids. After winning, he explained: "Originally I wanted to dye my hair completely red, but the effect was not that good. I just wanted to use four braids and get a haircut like this."

Zhang Zhengyu's last pigtail fell off early in Game 5. When interviewed, he laughed and said that it fell off while sleeping. It was about to fall off a few days ago. It would be crazy if he won the game. Although they didn't win in the end, they tied it up again before the G6 game today and successfully won the title. The last braid was cut off by head coach Ye Junzhang. Zhang Zhengyu celebrated by singing "Be Your Style" after winning Wei Quanlong's outstanding players.
