The Chinese Communist Party's large-scale united front platform for Taiwan, the "Straits Forum", recently launched. In this regard, People's Party Chairman Huang Guochang criticized the DPP's "double standards" to suppress the opposition for its own selfish purposes, which is extremely outrageous.

The People's Party held a press conference this afternoon titled "Inexplicable Suspension! Taiwan's Lost Digital Sovereignty!" to comment on the recent disaster of account suspension without warning in communities under Meta in the United States, and proposed legislative initiatives. After the meeting, it accepted joint interviews with the media on current affairs.

The media asked that Taitung County Magistrate Rao Qingling recently recorded a video to participate in the CCP's "Straits Forum" and was deemed by the Mainland Affairs Council to engage in united front activities and violated Article 33 of the "Cross-Strait People's Relations Ordinance". A letter will be requested from the Ministry of the Interior to launch an administrative investigation against him. Lan Ying believed that Rao was only using video to promote agricultural products and asked the People's Party for its opinion.

In response, Huang Guochang, chairman of the People's Party, responded that Taiwan is a country governed by the rule of law. He criticized the Mainland Affairs Council for serving the DPP government's selfish interests and party ideology, and labeled all basic and normal exchanges as "Chinese Communist Party passers-by" who wanted to betray Taiwan. He bluntly said that it was "inexplicable."

"This is not just about chasing people in the wild, it's too much!" Huang emphasized that Rao Qingling basically helped Taiwanese farmers promote Taiwan's agricultural products, asking the government "what's wrong with it", and named Hong Qichang, a new trend leader of the Democratic Progressive Party, to run to China. However, Liang Wenjie, deputy chairman of the Mainland Affairs Council, called the communication healthy and orderly. On the other hand, Rao's making a video to promote Taiwan's agricultural products would be illegal and subject to penalties. He scolded the DPP government for not practicing double standards, and bluntly said, "Have you had enough? This is really outrageous."
