Regarding future social welfare policies, Lai Ruilong pointed out that physical banking services will be further expanded, physical distribution points will be increased, and cooperation between the city government and private charities and social welfare groups will be strengthened so that resources can be delivered to disadvantaged families in a more timely manner. In terms of care for people with disabilities, we will continue to strengthen barrier-free home services and increase community-style day care and homework facilities for people with disabilities, so as to reduce the long-term burden on people with disabilities and their families.

He also reiterated the policy proposal to increase the number of Elderly Cards and Philanthropy Cards to 15,000 points every year, and expand the scope of use to cover daily needs such as transportation, medical treatment, and sports.
