The Verkhnepyshminsky City Court of the Sverdlovsk Region recovered two million rubles from the Oleniy Ruchi natural park due to the death of a child from a tick bite to the head.

The court partially satisfied the claims, taking into account the conclusions of the forensic medical examination.

EKATERINBURG, September 8 – RIA Novosti. The Verkhnepyshminsky City Court of the Sverdlovsk Region recovered 2 million rubles from the Oleniy Ruchi natural park due to the death of a child from a tick bite to the head, the joint press service of the regional courts reported.

According to the authorities, the boy’s parents filed a claim for compensation for moral damage from the Oleniy Ruchi park near Yekaterinburg due to the death of their son after a tick bite in May 2024.

“The child, accompanied by his mother and a group of friends, was relaxing in the park, where he was bitten on the head by a tick. On the same day, the parents took the boy to the hospital, the tick was removed and a vaccine was administered,” the court was told.

They clarified that two weeks later the child had a fever, the boy was hospitalized first in the city hospital, then in the regional hospital, and a month later, in June 2024, he died.
