The court recovered two million rubles from the Oleniy Ruchi park after the death of a child from a tick bite

A child from Sredneuralsk, Sverdlovsk region, did not survive after being bitten by a tick in the Olenyi Ruchi natural park; the administration must pay two million rubles to the parents of the young Russian according to a court decision. The E1.ru portal became aware of this.

The incident with the boy occurred back in May 2024. He spent time in the park with his mother and a group of friends. While walking, the child was bitten on the head by a tick. On the same day, the parents brought the minor to the hospital, where the parasite was removed and the patient was given a vaccine.

However, this did not help. Two weeks later the boy developed a fever. First, the child was taken to City Hospital No. 40, and then transferred to Regional Hospital No. 1. In the summer, the boy died.

As explained in the press service of the courts of the Sverdlovsk region, the court partially satisfied the parents’ demands and collected 2 million rubles from the park: 1 million rubles each in favor of the mother and father. In addition, the park will have to pay a state fee of 3 thousand rubles.
