World Vision receives 100 million won in sponsorship from Ajeong Party for the Lake Eyasi Self-Reliant Village Project in Tanzania

Support for strengthening self-reliance capacity of three villages in Lake Eya City

(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Jeong A-ran = World Vision, an international relief and development non-governmental organization (NGO), announced on the 17th that it received 100 million won in donations from Ajeongdang, a living service platform, for the Lake Eyasi Self-Reliant Village Project in Tanzania.

World Vision and Ajeong Party held a donation ceremony at the World Vision headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul the day before. The event was attended by executives and employees, including Na Yun-cheol, CMO of World Vision's Sharing Business Division, and Baek Hye-un, general manager (HR) of the Democratic Party of Korea.

The donation will be used for an international development project that supports self-reliance and community capacity building in three villages in Lake Eya City, Tanzania.

World Vision plans to increase the self-reliance capabilities of local residents and support children so that they can grow up in a stable and healthy environment.

Kim Min-ki, leader of the Ajeong Party, said, "We hope that this sponsorship will be of practical help to children and the local community in Tanzania. We will continue to show warm interest in all corners of society and continue to create opportunities to practice sharing as a company."

Na Yun-cheol, CMO of World Vision's Sharing Business Division, said, "We will faithfully carry out the project so that this donation can be used meaningfully to solidify the foundation for self-reliance for residents of Lake Eyasi Village in Tanzania and to help children develop their dreams in a safe environment."
