According to Yangguang Network, the Internet version of China Central Television (CCTV) on the 18th, Qixian Coffee, a Chinese distributor affiliated with JD.com, opened an unmanned robot cafe operating 24 hours a day in Beijing on the 16th.

Upon opening, this cafe challenged the Guinness World Record for 'the most coffee served by a robot cafe in one hour' and received record certification by making 202 cups.

This means that more than 3 cups of coffee were made in 1 minute.

This store is characterized by robots taking charge of the entire process of grinding coffee beans, extracting coffee, and putting it into cups.

When consumers order through the unmanned system, they can check the coffee making process through a screen installed in the store.

It also has a function that allows consumers to finely adjust the sweetness and coffee concentration in the range of 1 to 100 according to their taste.

Qixian Coffee explained that it has automated the coffee making process by combining JD's artificial intelligence (AI) and 'physical AI' technology, which allows physical devices such as robots to recognize the surrounding environment and act.

The company explains that by operating a store 24 hours a day without employees, it can standardize the coffee manufacturing process and reduce labor costs.

In the future, Qishian Coffee plans to use AI to introduce a personalized recommendation function that suggests appropriate caffeine intake based on the consumer's health condition.
