With the countdown to the nine-in-one general election, Yunlin County Mayor candidate Liu Jianguoming of the Democratic Progressive Party will hold the inauguration meeting of the Huwei Campaign Headquarters on the 18th. He will set the tone for the "Sea Line Headquarters" and invite big names such as Executive Director Zhuo Rongtai and former President Tsai Ing-wen to give lectures. Limited-edition "Ocean Current" streamers are also expected to be distributed at the event. Liu Jianguo expressed his hope that Yunlin would "take big strides forward" and hope to regain Yunlin and win it back.

In July this year, former President Tsai Ing-wen was invited by Liu Jianguo to visit the Huwei campus of National Taiwan University Hospital and the newly opened National Research Center for Aging Medicine and Health and Welfare, among other major construction projects approved during her term. In September, the Douliu campaign headquarters was established. Tsai Ing-wen even recorded a video to strongly recommend Liu Jianguo. Tomorrow afternoon, she will personally assist Liu Jianguo's platform.

Liu Jianguo said that the inauguration meeting of the Huwei Campaign Headquarters will be held tomorrow at 3:30 pm. The General Superintendent of the Campaign and former County Magistrate Su Zhifen, Agriculture Minister Chen Junji, Executive Director Zhuo Rongtai, and former President Tsai Ing-wen will take turns to assist in the speeches. In addition, the headquarters and supporters will self-issue and provide limited edition "Ocean Current Ribbon".

Liu Jianguo pointed out that the theme of this Huwei election is "Sealine Headquarters" to show that although he is a legislator in a mountainous area, his services do not distinguish between mountains and seas. Whether it is voter services, agricultural damage survey, etc., he will extend his services to coastal towns. In addition, he has fully contributed to the funds related to the Zhuoshui River dust prevention and control plan, hoping that voters can see his dedication and efforts over the years.

Liu Jianguo said that former President Tsai came to campaign for the second time in a short period of time. He also hopes to use the former president’s platform to deepen the impression of voters. He also hopes to further highlight his advantages in social welfare and medical fields through his political achievements over the years.

Liu Jianguo emphasized that he hopes to continue to express to voters through the headquarters' founding meeting that if he can take over the county government, he will introduce employment opportunities in high-tech, medical, biotechnology and other industries, and pay attention to taking care of Yunlin's local elders and young people working abroad, hoping to transform Yunlin.

The Legislative Yuan passed the amendment to the "Elderly Welfare Law" on the third reading, promoting the exemption of health insurance premiums for seniors over 65 years old. Wang Wanyu, chairman of the Times Power Party, criticized the People's Party and the Kuomintang for throwing money at votes and increasing the budget by 40 billion yuan every year. This is reverse distribution, robbing the poor and giving to the rich, and making the younger generation share the burden. The fiscal discipline emphasized in the past has disappeared.

Blue Tweet issued 20,000 yuan to everyone, which is unconstitutional and requires borrowing. Xu Guoyong said: It would be better to just send 1 million yuan

Xu Guoyong, secretary-general of the Democratic Progressive Party, criticized the Kuomintang's proposal for a universal cash payment of 20,000 yuan on the 17th as unconstitutional and requiring a debt of 230 billion yuan. He emphasized that the Democratic Progressive Party advocated that the general distribution of 10,000 yuan be funded by tax surplus, and there was no need to borrow debt to increase the burden on the next generation.
