Notice! Ironing construction at night on 10/31 at Fuxing North Road and Wenxin South Road in Taichung South District

The important intersection of Fuxing North Road and Wenxin South Road in the southern district of Taichung City has heavy traffic flow and uneven roads. The Construction Bureau has scheduled to carry out ironing construction from 9 pm on October 31 to 7 am the next day, with an area of ​​approximately 1,920 square meters to be improved. This project will complete the last intersection along Fuxing North Road that needs to be improved, making the road connection smoother and improving driving safety and traffic quality.

Construction Director Chen Datian said that the city government continues to promote road smoothing projects to improve old and uneven roads. Recently, the city government invested 33.88 million yuan in the road smoothing project of Fuxing North Road in the Southern District, and has successively completed the improvement of sections from Zhongming South Road to Wenxin South Road, Wenxin South Road to Huanzhong Road. This time, it will continue to carry out pavement improvements at the intersection of Fuxing North Road and Wenxin South Road, connecting the completed improved sections, and further improving the overall road quality and driving safety.

The Construction Bureau pointed out that this intersection usually has frequent commuter traffic and pedestrians. In order to reduce the impact of construction on traffic, the project will be constructed during off-peak hours at night, with traffic maintenance measures, safety warnings and on-site personnel guidance. The control scope will be flexibly adjusted according to the construction progress and traffic conditions. During the construction period, passers-by are asked to plan their driving routes in advance, follow the on-site traffic signs and traffic control personnel's instructions when passing through the work area, slow down and pay attention to construction workers and machinery.
