NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced the allocation of more than $10 billion for Ukraine's weapons as part of PURL

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte revealed the amount spent on the purchase of American weapons for Kyiv as part of the PURL (Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List) program. His words are quoted by the press service of the North Atlantic Alliance.

“Over the past year, allies have committed more than $10 billion under PURL and the US military sales program to Ukraine,” Rutte said. He noted that $3.5 billion was raised from an EU loan to support Kyiv.

According to the Secretary General, this was a sign of cooperation between the EU and NATO in supporting Ukraine, as well as an example of “the revitalization of Europe.”
