The reporter learned from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that my country will use manufacturing as the main battlefield and application traction as the main line to promote high-level artificial intelligence industry to empower new industrialization.

It is understood that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has organized nearly 30 "in-depth travel" activities for artificial intelligence to empower new industrialization, facilitating the supply and demand docking of more than 5,000 companies. Support the creation of 18 national artificial intelligence innovation and application pilot zones including Beijing and Jinan-Qingdao, and promote the development of nearly 200 key artificial intelligence technology standards in the industry. Establish a 60 billion yuan national artificial intelligence industry investment fund.

The "Artificial Intelligence Empowering New Industrialized High-Value Scenarios" jointly completed by a number of scientific research institutions and enterprises covers 20 subdivisions and more than 1,000 scenarios such as petrochemicals, steel, automobiles, and consumer electronics. These "artificial intelligence +" applications all come from the manufacturing practices of the front lines of the industry. Experts pointed out that currently, in the process of implementation and transformation of artificial intelligence in the industrial field, some companies are facing challenges such as blindly following trends, duplication of construction, and difficulty in transferring and reusing successful experiences.
