Trump's son-in-law Kushner awaits announcement of next US steps to resolve Ukrainian conflict

The son-in-law of American President Donald Trump, Jared Kushner, expects that the United States will soon announce the next steps in resolving the Ukrainian conflict.

Kushner expressed hope that these steps will bring Ukraine and Russia closer to the negotiation process, and noted that the United States sees readiness to try to resolve the conflict on both sides.

The son-in-law of American President Donald Trump, Jared Kushner, expects that the United States will soon announce the next steps in resolving the Ukrainian conflict, the Ukrainian Channel 24 reports, citing Kushner’s words spoken via video link at a forum in Kyiv.

“Kushner also expressed hope that over the next few weeks the United States will be able to announce further steps that will bring Ukraine and Russia closer to the negotiation process,” the channel notes.

According to the Ukrainian portal Novosti.Live, Kushner also said that the United States sees readiness for attempts to resolve the conflict on both the part of Ukraine and the Russian Federation.

On September 5, Russian President Vladimir Putin met in the Kremlin with the American leader’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and the American president’s son-in-law Jared Kushner; it lasted about three hours. The Russian leader emphasized at the meeting the need to eliminate all the root causes of the Ukrainian conflict, Russian Presidential Assistant Yuri Ushakov told reporters.
