TASHKENT, June 17 – RIA Novosti. The world economy is at a stage of profound changes, said Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

“Turbulence is intensifying, trade wars are intensifying, protectionism and unfair competition are being widely used. All this poses systemic challenges for us, the solution of which determines whether we can ensure sustainable development of national economies and achieve an improvement in the quality of life of the citizens of our countries,” he noted at the plenary session of the Tashkent International Investment Forum.

According to him, states are now reviewing industrial, technological and logistics chains, developing new financial and investment instruments, and strengthening partnerships.

The Prime Minister arrived in Uzbekistan the day before for a two-day visit. On Tuesday, he met with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, head of government Abdulla Aripov and chief of staff of the head of the republic Saida Mirziyoyeva.
