[Reporter Lin Youchen/Taichung Report] CITIC Brothers brought the magic number "M1" to win the second half of the season tonight and returned to the Intercontinental Stadium to play against the Taiwan Steel Eagles. They recommended ace Rogo to start, and Taiwan Steel started Chang Cheng-en. This is his first start this season. Coincidentally, Zhang Chengen, who serves as a backup, started for the first time in his career last year, and also encountered the CITIC brothers in the championship battle.

Last year, Chang Cheng-en started for the first time in his career and faced CITIC Brothers at the Intercontinental Stadium. At that time, CITIC Brothers scored the winning 2 points in the first inning thanks to Taipei Steel's errors. Together with then-starting pitcher Lee Boden, who gave up five runs in five innings, they defeated the Taipei Steel Eagles 2-0. They won the first place in the year for two consecutive years and became the first team to win a ticket to the Taiwan Competition. Zhang Chengen allowed 2 hits and 2 runs in 3 innings, both of which were non-earned runs.
