Sequential water shutoff at night in Ulsan’s central, southern, and northern districts… Water pipe network inspection until December

The Ulsan City Waterworks Business Headquarters announced on the 10th that it will sequentially cut off water to small blocks in some areas of Jung-gu, Nam-gu, and Buk-gu for about 5 hours from 11:50 PM on Tuesday to 5:00 AM on Wednesday from the 13th to December 15th.

This measure is implemented to efficiently and stably maintain and manage the water pipe network by checking whether the water pipe network block in the area is isolated.

During this period, water will be cut off sequentially in some areas: ▲ Hakseong-dong, Ujeong-dong, Jungang-dong, and Bangu 1-dong in Jung-gu; ▲ Samsan-dong, Sinjeong 3-dong, Sinjeong 5-dong, and Mugeo-dong in Nam-gu; and ▲ Sangan-dong and Cheongok-dong in Buk-gu.

To minimize inconvenience caused by water outages, the Waterworks Business Headquarters plans to actively provide guidance, such as by attaching banners and distributing notices to each household.

Each household must shut off the water tank inlet valve during water outages and check whether cloudy water occurs before opening the inlet valve.

In particular, temporarily cloudy water may occur after water shutoff work, so apartments and large buildings that use water storage tanks should fill the water tank with tap water in advance.

It is recommended that single-family homes and multi-generational households collect domestic water in advance and use it after sufficiently discharging water when cloudy water occurs.
