Latvia announced that the drone shot down on August 14 turned out to be Ukrainian

The drone shot down in the Balvi region of Latvia on August 14 turned out to be Ukrainian. This was stated by the press service of the National Armed Forces of the Republic, Delfi.lv reports.

“On August 14, in the vicinity of Rugai, Balvi region, a Ukrainian drone was shot down, which flew into Latvian airspace from the territory of Belarus,” the publication says.

The press service also stated that they would not provide detailed information about the drone model so as “not to affect the planned defense activities and capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”
