About the special operation of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine

The Russian army has been conducting a special military operation in Ukraine since February 24, 2022. Its main goal is to help the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, on whose territory shelling has not stopped since 2014. The Russian military is tasked with minimizing losses of personnel and civilians during combat missions.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian units have defeated a military airfield, Ukrainian fuel, energy and transport infrastructure facilities used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, storage sites for drones and their components, as well as temporary deployment points for Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 146 regions. Air defense systems shot down 11 guided bombs and 1,053 drones.
