KMT Chairman Cheng Lai-wen Taichung supports Jiang Qichen and criticizes the DPP for improper governance

The inaugural meeting of the KMT's Taichung mayoral candidate Jiang Qichen was held in the morning at the prime location of the 7th phase of the Municipal North 1st Road. Tour buses were mobilized in Taichung District 29. The host announced at 9:10 a.m. that more than 10,000 people were present. KMT Chairman Cheng Li-wen went on stage alone to deliver a speech. Big figures in the party such as Han Guoyu, Hou Youyi and Lu Xiuyan were not accompanied, and Jiang Qichen was not accompanied on stage.

Cheng Lai-wen called for "KMT home run" and was accompanied on the stage by Li Qianlong, vice chairman and secretary-general of the Kuomintang. Han Guoyu, Hou Youyi and Lu Xiuyan were not with her, nor was the "protagonist" Jiang Qichen. Cheng Lai-wen's speech targeted the Democratic Progressive Party's Taichung mayoral candidate He Xinchun, criticizing He Xinchun's claim that "6,000 factories were closed" in the Dali and Taiping constituencies. The problem lies in the long-term ideological governance of the DPP, which only wants to engage in struggle every day and not the economy.
