About the special operation of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine

The Russian army has been conducting a special military operation in Ukraine since February 24, 2022. Its main goal is to help the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, on whose territory shelling has not stopped since 2014. The Russian military is tasked with minimizing losses of personnel and civilians during combat missions.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian units have defeated Ukrainian fuel, energy and transport infrastructure facilities used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, fuel and military equipment warehouses, assembly and storage sites for unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 147 regions. Air defense systems shot down 258 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles.
