[Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do] Joint public-private push for customized welfare support for households in crisis

Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do, announced on the 4th that it will identify at-risk households and provide customized welfare support to eliminate blind spots in welfare during winter and help vulnerable groups survive the winter safely.

The military will spend 13 million won to promote the 'public-private joint winter crisis household planning and identification and customized welfare support project' from November to December.

The project involves the county's Hope Welfare Team, town/village welfare teams, local social security councils, village heads, etc. to identify and support at-risk households.

The main targets are at-risk households including people with severe disabilities, energy-vulnerable groups, and households at risk of lonely death.

In particular, we plan to conduct boiler safety inspections with specialized companies for households at risk of lonely deaths and repair or replace them if necessary.

The military plans to visit at-risk households to provide welfare counseling and connect them with necessary welfare services through on-site visits.

A military official said, “Through public-private cooperation, we will proactively identify underprivileged groups who are vulnerable to the winter cold wave and continue to provide practical welfare support.”

Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do, announced on the 4th that it would publicly recruit operators for four public daycare centers.

There are four recruitment targets: Daejin Daycare Center (Hyeonnae-myeon), Geojin Daycare Center (Geojin-eup), Jukwang Daycare Center (Jukwang-myeon), and Toseong Desian Daycare Center (Toseong-myeon).

The consignment period is 5 years from March 1, 2027 to February 28, 2032.

The recruitment announcement will be held until the 16th, and applications can be submitted by visiting the Welfare Department, Women and Family Team on the 1st floor of the Goseong-gun Women's Center from the 10th to the 16th.

Application hours are from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekdays, and applications by mail or online are not accepted.

The selected operator must directly operate the daycare center, and must prioritize at least two of the vulnerable childcare types, such as childcare for infants, disabled children, extended-type children, and multicultural children.

The county plans to create a stable childcare environment by selecting a consignment operator with childcare expertise and operational responsibility.
