Police allege the 19-year-old driver ran from the scene before he was found a short distance away outside his home.
"Fortunately, the 31-year-old rideshare driver and his passenger, a 25-year-old man, escaped with only minor injuries and did not require medical treatment," police said.
The 19-year-old allegedly refused a breath test and was arrested, before he later recorded a blood-alcohol reading of 0.116, police said.
He was charged with drink driving, driving disqualified, failing to comply with direction and two counts of endangering life, and was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on November 27.

Earlier in the night, a 53-year-old man was killed in a crash between a car and an SUV at the intersection of Penfold and King roads at Virginia.
Emergency services were called to the scene about 8:45pm on Sunday, and the circumstances of the crash are being examined by major crash investigators.
The driver of the Ford SUV — a 38-year-old woman — and five passengers, including four children, were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
His death is the 85th on the state's roads this year.
Hours earlier, a 66-year-old Murray Bridge woman was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after her car rolled on the Copper Coast Highway at Port Wakefield.
The woman was the only occupant of the car, which was towed from the scene.
A 67-year-old driver was also rushed to hospital after the car he was driving hit a tree at Woodside in the Adelaide Hills.
Police said the man was seriously injured in the crash, which happened just before 12:30pm on Sunday on Murdoch Hill Road.
Meanwhile, an 18-year-old man who allegedly rode a go-kart through two reserves in Adelaide's north while children and families were present is expected to face court.
Police said they received reports of a go-kart being driven through Carisbrooke and Harry Bowey reserves at Salisbury Park on Sunday afternoon.
The alleged driver was tracked to a home at nearby Elizabeth Vale, where the go-kart was found "underneath a tarp" before it was impounded, police said.
The man was reported for driving disqualified and driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle, and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
