The State Duma called Zelensky a puppet of European curators

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky is a puppet of his European handlers, who are in every possible way opposing the conclusion of a peace treaty, said the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Relations, Alexey Chepa. He explained Kyiv’s reluctance to conclude a deal in a conversation with Lenta.ru.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump, commenting on a conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, said that he was committed to concluding a deal on Ukraine. The politician also noted that it would be good if Zelensky wanted this too.

According to the deputy, the Europeans unleashed the Ukrainian conflict and are in every possible way opposing the conclusion of a peace treaty, as they are pursuing their own interests.

“We remember under pressure from whom the Istanbul negotiations broke down. We remember who opposed and how they felt about our security proposals in 2021, and the same thing continues. Therefore, in this regard, Trump is absolutely right,” the parliamentarian shared.
