The Trump administration launches electronic games at the White House to promote immigration policies

Atlanta, USA (CNN) - On Thursday, the Trump administration launched a series of “arcade”-style electronic games through the official White House website to promote its priorities, in the latest shift in its offensive online efforts to provoke Democrats, which sometimes included racist and offensive images.

The White House's online gaming platform includes games in which players detain people at the southern border and build a border wall.

In Rio Run, users "patroll the line" along the Rio Grande and "catch every border crosser" to maximize deportations. The user icon in the game, similar to a snake game, is represented by an older white man wearing a blue tie, while the “border crossers” characters appear in various skin colors, including brown, black, and white.

When the player catches one of the "border crossers", the character suddenly appears wearing an orange uniform and walking behind the player.

Another immigration-themed game called “Build the Wall” asks users to stack bricks and “stand the ground” in the face of a “zombie border blockade.”

Other games invite users to direct the flight of a “bald eagle” over the National Mall in Washington, or to collect diamonds and cash to fill “Trump Baby Accounts.”

“This is an attempt to further highlight the contrast between the culture of fun and winning and the dark socialist vision that Democrats have for America,” a White House official told CNN.

Trump and the White House have come under sharp criticism for their offensive use of social media and official government platforms, including the use of racist and offensive images, such as a photo of House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries wearing a Mexican sombrero, and photos of Obama and his wife showing them as monkeys in the jungle.

While some people are sharing their scores for the White House arcade games on X, others are wondering what the administration's priorities are in light of the Iran war and the rising cost of living.

In November, CNN reported on the Trump 2.0 administration's unconventional approach to the White House website, with one official saying: "The site is informative in many different ways, but it's also a way to spread our message, and we can use it as an offensive tool in a way that no other administration has been able to do."
