After voting, the meeting adopted the decision that Comrade Shen Changyu will no longer serve as a member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and accept his resignation as a member; the decision to remove Wang Ning from the position of member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Committee and revoke his membership qualifications; and the decision to revoke the qualifications of Zhang Jianming, Yu Yanhong and Wang Tongzhou as members of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
After the closing meeting, Chen Ruifeng, deputy minister of the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee and director of the National Ethnic Affairs Commission, was invited to give a study lecture titled "Forging a Strong Consciousness of the Chinese Nation's Community and Promoting the Construction of the Chinese Nation's Community."
