[Reporter Liang Weiming/Comprehensive Report] The four Taiwanese players who competed in the Nagoya Asian Games Women's Tennis Doubles "gold-packed silver" moved to Wuhan after Beijing. They are striving for success this week. "Taiwan's First Sister" Hsieh Shu-wei and "Little Steel Cannon" Liang Enshuo must seize the opportunity of the Asian season and strive for the top 8 tickets in the WTA year-end finals.

Xie Suwei, who returned to the Asian Games in 12 years and won the women's doubles gold medal for the first time, stopped in the top 8 of the China Open last week with Latvian "O Girl" Jelena Ostapenko, and rushed to Wuhan, which is also a WTA thousand-point level. The two were ranked fourth in the women's doubles. The "Tela Alliance" received a bye in the first round and directly advanced to the top 16, waiting for their opponents to be announced. Liang Enshuo, who also won the Asian Games gold medal, and his Japanese partner Shuko Aoyama met Greece's Maria Sakkari/Croatia's Donna Vekic in the first match.

As for the Asian Games silver-plated Zhan Haoqing, Japan's Kato Miwei coincidentally faced off against Slovakia's Tereza Mihalikova/Britain's Olivia Nicholls. The "Taiwanese-Japanese coalition" hopes for sweet revenge and regains the face of Beijing's first-round defeat. Wu Fangxian, who also won the Asian Games silver medal, teamed up with Fanny Stollar of Hungary to fight against strong opponents Erin Routliffe of New Zealand/Aldila Sutjiadi of Indonesia.
