The Jianshan Police Station of Miaoli County Toufen Police Station received a report on the evening of the 5th, saying that a figure disappeared in Jianshan Cemetery and did not dare to approach rashly. The police went to check and found a man who had fallen into a ditch next to the cemetery. It was found that he was a 59-year-old man surnamed Chen who had notified the police and was suffering from dementia. Firefighters were notified to help send him to the hospital to save his life.

The Toufen Police Station stated today that the Jianshan Police Station received a report from the public at about 8 pm on the 5th, saying that a suspicious figure was vaguely seen next to the Jianshan Cemetery in Guangxinggli, Toufen City. Due to the dim sky and poor visibility, and the location near the cemetery, the reporter did not dare to approach rashly, so he sought help from the police, so the police and civil defense personnel rushed to the scene to check.

After police and civil defense personnel arrived at the scene to search carefully, they found a man trapped in the ditch next to the cemetery. The man was identified as Chen Nan, who notified the search team. Because Mr. Chen was weak, the police immediately notified fire rescue personnel to assist at the scene and sent him to the hospital for treatment.

The police then actively contacted Chen Nan's family and informed him that he had been safely found and sent to the hospital. After his physical condition stabilized, his family would take him back to his home, and follow the relevant procedures for canceling the search assistance in accordance with regulations. The family expressed their deep gratitude to the police and civil defense personnel for their active search at night and saving Chen Nan's life.
