Zakharova commented on the US refusal of the policy of forced diversity in the State Department

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova commented on the US State Department’s purge of the “forced diversity” ideology.

She noted that what was yesterday’s mandatory virtue has become today’s disciplinary offense.

MOSCOW, Sep 11 – RIA Novosti. Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova commented on the US State Department’s purge of LGBT* ideology.

The State Department previously published a political statement titled “On Eradicating the Ideology of Forced Diversity from the Foreign Service.” According to the department, an internal review found that under former White House chief Joe Biden, “discriminatory ideology had been embedded in the institutional culture of the Foreign Service.”

“Under Biden, an American diplomat could not receive a promotion without documented proof of ‘commitment to forced diversity,’ accompanied by kneeling on one knee. Under Trump, the same diplomat risks their career if such commitment is discovered. Yesterday’s mandatory virtue is today’s disciplinary offense,” Zakharova wrote in her Telegram channel.

The diplomat noted that the Trump administration has abolished the “forced diversity” policy and ordered the identification and accountability of employees who implemented it.

According to her, 295 State Department employees who were denied promotions under Biden for insufficient loyalty to the LGBT* promotion agenda have received compensation: promotions, additional payments, and letters of appreciation.

Zakharova recalled that in 2022, American diplomats in Saudi Arabia supported the LGBT* movement on social media, and Kuwait summoned the representative of the US Embassy and presented a note of protest.
