ولفت الجيش في بيانه إلى أنه "كجزء من التمرين المفاجئ، تم استدعاء القادة في جميع القيادات والهيئات والأذرع، كما يجري استنفار قوات وفحص قوات الاحتياط. كما يتابع رئيس الأركان ويقيّم إدارة التمرين من مقر القيادة العليا وفي الميدان".

وأضاف: "خلال التمرين، ستلحظ حركة نشطة لقوات الأمن والقطع الجوية في أنحاء البلاد. لا توجد خشية من وقوع حادث أمني".

وأكد البيان أن "الاختبار يشكل جزءا من عملية مستمرة في الجيش الإسرائيلي تهدف إلى تعزيز ركائز الجيش، وكفاءة وجاهزية جميع مستويات المقاتلين والقادة. ‏وفي إطاره، يتم التدريب على تطبيق الخطط العملياتية وترسيخها واختبارها، إلى جانب استخلاص الدروس المتراكمة من القتال في مختلف الجبهات ومن أحداث السابع من أكتوبر".
