Recently, he has actively participated in the charity stage play "Cute Big Brother 2.0" that will be launched at the end of October. When asked again if he really intended to return to Buddhism, he clarified: "I don't want to become a monk!" He emphasized that his current focus in life is entirely on his family and acting work. This time, he challenged himself to sing and dance on stage for the first time. In response to the rumors of "monasticism" that have been circulating recently, Zhang Fengqi said frankly that he was ordained as a monk at the Zhongtai Zen Temple when he was 9 years old, and later returned to secular life due to family reasons. This experience made him have a deep connection with Buddhism. In the past, he had lamented on the show that if one day his life was free of worries, he might consider becoming a monk again.
