The second Moscow Investment and Industrial Forum (MIIF-2026) will be held in the special economic zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow in Pechatniki from October 20 to 25, at which the capital will show its own investment opportunities, said Deputy Mayor of the capital for transport and industry Maxim Liksutov.
This year the partner country will be the People's Republic of China.
“On the instructions of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city is consistently creating conditions for increasing investment in industry. More than 20 support measures are available to enterprises, which allow both launching new production and modernizing existing ones,” the press service of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy (DIPP) quotes Liksutov as saying.
He added that the forum has become one of the main platforms where it will be possible to discuss the development of Moscow’s economic potential and show investment opportunities. The business program includes over 30 events.
Among the main topics are international cooperation, AI and big data, and their use in production, the press service specified. Discussion participants will also be able to discuss the prospects and barriers to equipping the financial sector with domestic equipment.
The opening of the season of the "Industrial Mentor" project will be dedicated to the transfer of management experience to industrial enterprises. The project is carried out jointly with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the interregional union "Club of Young Industrialists".
As part of the exhibition, residents of the Russian SEZ and the Technopolis Moscow SEZ will present their products and developments. Thematic areas will be available to guests, for example, at the robotics stand you will be able to see modern robotic solutions, and at the additive technologies stand you will be able to see 3D printing and digital manufacturing capabilities.
On the first day of the forum, the Industrial Cooperation Exchange will be held - negotiations between customers and suppliers on specific production tasks. Registration of participants is open until October 15 on the Club website.
In addition, guests will be treated to a “Mentor Lounge”, where heads of enterprises will discuss management cases with mentors. On other days of the forum, the “Investment Lounge” and the business communication zone will be available - interaction between businesses and potential partners and government representatives in B2B and B2G formats.
Also, as part of the forum, the Technopolis Moscow SEZ will host the IV International Forum of Special Economic Zones (IFSEZ-2026). Among the guests are representatives of the BRICS countries, the EAEU and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The organizers are the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZs of Russia and the Technopolis Moscow SEZ with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and the Moscow government. The forum has become the main industry platform in Russia, where the development of preferential territories and attracting investments are discussed. Among the key topics will be the scaling of SEZs, Moscow’s industrial capabilities, human resources potential, exports, cooperation of high-tech companies and interaction with the regions.
Guests will be able to take excursions to SEZ enterprises, where they can see modern production lines and advanced engineering solutions.
From October 23 to 25, the All-Russian youth competition for students and specialists in the IT industry, industrial design, manufacturing and other related specialties will be held on the fields of the IIPF. Hackathon participants will be able to offer their solutions to five real production problems from leading high-tech enterprises in Moscow.
The best developments will be included in the ecosystem of the Moscow industrial sector, and the total prize fund will be 2.5 million rubles. Young people aged 18 to 35 will be able to take part in the competition. To do this, you need to submit an application on the project website before October 21, assemble a team of 3-5 like-minded people and choose one of the five proposed cases.
As part of the forum, Career Day will also be held on October 24. Moscow high-tech companies will show vacancies and internship opportunities, and recruiters will conduct master classes and help participants determine areas of professional development. The capital's universities will introduce future applicants to specialized educational programs and career prospects in industry.
