“As for the front-line communities and regions, here I would include Kyiv and the Kyiv region, the situation here has been the worst for the last four years, because the challenge we received regarding jet drones, we were not ready for it,” he noted on the YouTube channel “Superposition.”

Earlier, Rajan Menon, a member of the Society of Leading Scientists at Columbia University, wrote in a column for The New York Times that Ukraine would not be able to quickly find a solution to the acute shortage of air defense systems, and therefore the next few months could be decisive in the conflict.

Vladimir Zelensky recently admitted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces cannot shoot down ballistic missiles due to a shortage of air defense missiles. And the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, Yegor Chernev, stated that the situation with air defense systems has become the worst during the entire conflict.
