The 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services concluded in Beijing with more than 1,200 achievements achieved

China News Service, Beijing, September 13 (Reporter Xu Jing) The 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services closed in Beijing on the 13th. This Service Trade Fair attracted 90 countries, regions and international organizations to set up exhibitions and conferences, and achieved more than 1,200 results in 7 categories, with its international influence continuing to increase.

Lu Huiling, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, introduced at a press conference held on the 13th that this CIFTIS will continue to adhere to the concept of "global services, mutual benefit and sharing", hold 200 forum meetings and negotiation and promotion activities, create theme exhibitions and 9 special exhibitions, attracting more than 1,830 companies to participate offline and more than 5,300 companies to participate online.

The exhibition focuses on innovation in services trade. Lu Huiling said that this year, 473 Fortune 500 and industry leading companies participated in the exhibition offline, accounting for nearly 26% of the total number of offline exhibitors, and 320 industry list companies participated in the exhibition. The display includes not only cutting-edge content such as digital intelligence production and cell therapy, but also hot areas such as cross-border logistics and cultural exports; the first Chinese service case exhibition is set up, with 140 cases fully demonstrating the style of Chinese service brands.

The Service Trade Conference will release major results intensively. Lu Huiling introduced that international organizations held a total of 22 forum meetings and negotiation and promotion activities to provide intelligent support and practical paths for the development of service trade; 103 companies and institutions released 233 results, including 119 new product launch results, 35 authoritative release results, and 22 important project results.

The results of the negotiations were pragmatic and fruitful. Lu Huiling said that 134 promotion and negotiation activities were held this year; the Norwegian pavilion, the guest country, signed 6 cooperation agreements with Chinese enterprises and institutions; 36 key projects were signed on-site at the "Invest in Beijing" theme promotion conference, covering 12 industrial fields; the conference achieved more than 1,200 results in 7 categories, promoting resource docking, exchanges and cooperation.

Zhu Guangyao, the second-level inspector of the Department of Trade in Services and Commercial Services of the Ministry of Commerce of China, said that China will insist on promoting common development through service cooperation, strengthen the docking of development strategies and cooperation initiatives with other countries, and use important exhibition platforms such as the China Service Trade Fair as a link to promote mutual benefit, win-win and common development of all countries.
