China News Service, Moscow, September 11 (Reporter Tian Bing) The 2026 "Liangzhu Dialogue of World Civilizations" cultural exchange and dissemination series of activities was recently held at Moscow State University. Hundreds of people, including representatives from the cultural, educational and media circles of China and Russia, as well as teachers and students from Russian universities, participated in the event.
This event is jointly sponsored by the Information Office of the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang Radio and Television Group, the Management Committee of Hangzhou Liangzhu Heritage Management Area, and the Higher Television School of Moscow State University. It is also hosted by the Overseas Center of Zhejiang Radio and Television Group (International Channel), Zhejiang University Press, and the Russian "Media Plus" online Chinese classroom.
At the opening ceremony, Wang Ningyuan, an expert from the Zhejiang Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, introduced Liangzhu Culture. Zhejiang University presented the “Chinese Painting Department of Past Dynasties” to Moscow State University. The Overseas Center of Zhejiang Radio and Television Group signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Higher School of Television of Moscow State University.

The trailer of the documentary "Liangzhu: Exploring the Origins of World Civilization" jointly produced by China and Russia was officially released at the opening ceremony. The Chinese and Russian joint film crew visited Liangzhu Museum, Liangzhu Ancient City Heritage Park, Laohuling Heritage Park and other places to jointly record the exquisite jades at the Fanshan site, the magnificent foundation of the Mojiaoshan Palace and the surrounding water conservancy system. They also interviewed authoritative Chinese and Russian scholars to interpret the Liangzhu civilization from a two-way perspective, allowing Russian audiences to understand the history of Chinese civilization from their own cultural context.

Plotnikova, general manager of the "Federal News" media company, Lobashov, editor-in-chief of the "My Planet" channel of the Russian digital TV company, Huang Wei, director of the overseas center of Zhejiang Radio and Television Group, Niu Huawei, chairman of the Eurasian Media Association and president of the Russian "Media Plus" online Chinese class, etc., had in-depth exchanges and dialogues on topics such as symbiosis and mutual learning between Liangzhu and Russian ancient civilizations, ecological wisdom, cross-cultural localization, digital technology empowerment, youth power and normalized cooperation mechanisms.

On the same day, the "Liangzhu Culture Youth Communication Plan" entered Russia and completed its first overseas stop at Moscow State University. Multiple interactive experience areas, pop-up performances and activities such as "Drawing a Picture Around the World" were set up on site, attracting many Russian students to experience the unique charm of Liangzhu Culture up close. The special exhibition with the theme of "Hello Liangzhu" presents the development context and core values of Liangzhu civilization in three major units: "Tracing back to Liangzhu", "Instruments to carry the Tao" and "Cultural context for thousands of years", attracting a large number of teachers and students to visit the exhibition.
According to the organizer, the "Liangzhu Dialogue of World Civilizations" cultural exchange and dissemination series of activities has entered universities and cultural institutions in Greece, Portugal, Brazil, Chile and other countries since 2024, and successfully held many cultural exchange activities.
