2026 Yu-Taiwan Economic and Trade Fair and Cross-Strait Intelligent Equipment Manufacturing Docking Event Opened in Hebi, Henan

China News Service, Hebi, Henan, August 21 (Reporter Han Zhangyun) The 2026 Henan-Taiwan Economic and Trade Fair and Cross-Strait Intelligent Equipment Manufacturing Docking Event, co-sponsored by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council and the Henan Provincial Government, opened in Hebi, Henan on the 21st. A total of 27 projects were signed, covering fields such as artificial intelligence, electronic information, and new energy vehicle industry chains. Among them, 8 projects including collaborative cooperation in the automotive electronics and electrical industry chain and high-tech semiconductor gas mixing equipment were signed on site.

With the theme of "Multi-chain Cooperation and Integrated Development", this event brought together more than 300 entrepreneurs and guests from both sides of the Taiwan Strait to conduct in-depth exchanges and docking around the field of intelligent equipment manufacturing.

Guo Jinlong, chairman of the mainland side of the Cross-Strait Entrepreneurs Summit, said at the meeting that both sides of the Taiwan Strait have their own advantages in the field of artificial intelligence and should strengthen cooperation, integrate development, and coordinate the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, the cultivation and growth of emerging industries, and the forward-looking layout of future industries, so as to share development dividends.

Liu Zhaoxuan, Taiwan Chairman of the Cross-Strait Entrepreneurs Summit, hopes that the two sides will focus on smart equipment and jointly create a high-end manufacturing base. In the fields of new energy vehicle supply chain and innovation chain, the two sides can work together to deepen cooperation in automotive electronics, new materials, etc., and jointly explore the international market.

The Henan-Taiwan Economic and Trade Fair has been held for 16 times since 2009, with a total of more than 600 signed projects and a total investment of more than 360 billion yuan. It is an important brand project for Henan Province to open up to the outside world and carry out economic and trade exchanges with Taiwan.
