Russians’ pensions will be indexed twice in 2027, the corresponding money is included in the budget, Alexei Sinitsyn, head of the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy, told RIA Novosti.
“First of all, it should be noted that pensions will be indexed this year (2027 - ed.) twice, and the corresponding money is included in the budget for this, just as money is included for a large number of obligations that are directly provided for by law,” he said.
According to the senator, the committee, in zero reading mode, considered the budgets of social funds - the Social Fund and the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund.
“Colleagues are confident that the budgets are as balanced as possible, and we see this from the figures, that all planned expenses of the budgets of these funds have a strictly defined source of financing, so we understand for sure that these obligations will be financed,” the senator added.
According to Sinitsyn, the draft budget increases expenses for the development of the healthcare industry as a whole.
“More than 7 trillion will be allocated for this, 1.8 trillion of which is from the federal budget and 5.2 trillion from the budget of the compulsory health insurance fund,” noted the head of the committee.
In addition, the senator emphasized, the “children’s” budget over three years will amount to more than 10 trillion - this is a single allowance and maternity capital.
“The annual family payment in the form of a refund of part of the paid personal income tax for citizens with two or more children is also preserved,” the parliamentarian explained.
