According to police, Shirisha was a native of Chowtigudem village in Mulakalapalli mandal of Bhadradri Kothagudem district. She had moved to Hyderabad around seven months ago with her friend Kaka Sarika, 21, who also worked as a nurse at Prime Care Hospital.
According to Shamshabad Police, Sarika called the complainant around 2:30 pm on Saturday and informed her that Shirisha had not left her room since morning. Despite knocking on the door several times, there was no response. Police said Shirisha’s friends then entered the room through a window and found her lying dead with bleeding injuries on her face. The complainant subsequently reached the room and saw Shirisha’s body.
