Inter Milan, champion of the Italian Football League, recorded net profits amounting to 22.7 million euros ($25.8 million) at the end of the 2025-2026 season, confirming the continuation of its financial recovery that began the previous season after 15 years of losses.

Profits decreased compared to the 35 million euros achieved by the club in the 2024-2025 season, while the Lombard club’s revenues amounted to 518 million euros ($589 million), compared to the record of 567 million euros ($645 million) in the previous season.

The club, owned by the American Oaktree Fund, explained that the fiscal year 2024-2025 benefited from exceptional revenues resulting from participating in the Club World Cup and reaching the European Champions League final.

Nerazzurri, which won its twenty-first title in the Italian League last May, indicated that it had reduced its operating costs by about 20 million euros, or by 4 percent.

Commercial product revenues also increased by 7 percent, thanks to the new partnership agreement with the sports equipment company “Fanatics.”

The increase in player transfer revenues by 11 million euros ($12.5 million) contributed to strengthening the club’s financial results during the financial year ending in June.

German Thomas Tuchel, coach of the England national team, supported his striker Harry Kane to win the “Golden Ball” award, considering that the English star, who continues to develop his level, is capable of leading the attacking line in the “2030 World Cup” when he turns 36 years old.

The Bayern Munich striker scored 73 goals for his club and country during the distinguished 2025-2026 season, during which he won the German League, German Cup and German Super Cup titles.

Kane also won a bronze medal with the England national team 10 weeks ago, after losing to Argentina in the semi-finals of the World Cup, with the team achieving its best result ever in a version held outside its homeland.

These performances contributed to placing Kane among the most prominent candidates to win the “Golden Ball,” becoming the first Englishman to win the award since Michael Owen in 2001.

When Tuchel was asked if Kane was his choice to win the award next month, he told ITV: “Yes. After this season, yes.”

“We have not made any decision yet,” Komatsu told reporters before the start of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. "We're still trying to decide what we're going to do next year."

Ocon, 30, who joined Haas last year alongside Briton Oliver Berman, who is backed by Ferrari, revealed on Wednesday that he was in talks with other teams.

When asked whether Ocon's continuation was still an option, he replied: “Yes. “As I said, we haven’t made any decisions yet.”

Regarding Ocon’s description of himself as a “free driver,” Komatsu explained that each driver has a specific date during the season to make a decision about his future, adding: “This simply means that we have not made a decision yet, but that was a long time ago, so his situation has not really changed.”
