Video of 23 customers and employees showing unknown symptoms and spraying at game center in Nagoya

On the evening of the 8th, there was a disturbance at the game center on the 4th floor of Mozo Wonder City, a commercial facility in Futakata-cho, Nishi-ku, Nagoya City, where customers and employees were coughing and complaining of sore eyes and throats, and a security camera inside the store showed what appeared to be someone spraying something, according to an interview with investigators on the 9th. Aichi Prefectural Police are investigating the incident with a view to suspicions of causing bodily harm and forcibly obstructing business operations.

According to the prefectural police, at around 5:35 p.m. on the 8th, the fire department received a report of ``many people coughing, having frequent eye irritation, and having a scratchy throat.'' Twenty-three men and women complained of symptoms, and eight of them were taken to the hospital. All of the injured appear to have minor injuries, and their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

The site is a large commercial facility approximately 550 meters east of Meitetsu Kamiodai Station. There are residences and elementary schools nearby. The area around the facility was in a state of commotion as many fire engines gathered.
