23rd International Bodrum Ballet Festival Ended with 'Pinocchio.exe'

The 23rd International Bodrum Ballet Festival, held in the Bodrum district of Muğla, ended with the "Pinocchio.exe" show. "Pinocchio.exe" was staged by the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet Modern Dance Ensemble (MDTİstanbul) at the closing of the festival, which was held at the Bodrum Castle North Hendegi Stage by the General Directorate of State Opera and Ballet of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. In the work choreographed by Erika Silgoner, Carlo Collodi's classic Pinocchio story was reinterpreted through the concepts of reality, artificial intelligence, memory and being human. The production, staged with Gökçe Özücoşkun's music, Gülden Sayıl's decor and costume design, and Yasin Gültepe's lighting design, attracted attention from the audience. At the festival, 5 different productions and 10 performances that brought different interpretations of ballet and dance to the audience were presented to art lovers. The festival attracted attention from local audiences as well as foreign tourists spending their holidays in Bodrum.

The last day of the festival was full with the "Pinocchio.exe" show. This modern dance show, presented by Showman and staged by MDTİstanbul, had the audience thinking.
