Self-employed people in the Oryol region sold goods and services worth 25.5 billion rubles

Self-employed people in the Oryol region sold more than 28.4 million goods and services for a total amount of 25.5 billion rubles during the operation of the special “Professional Income Tax” (NPT) regime, reports the press service of the regional government, citing data from the Federal Tax Service of Russia for this area. The budget received 990 million rubles from the activities of NAP taxpayers. Currently, the number of self-employed people in the region exceeds 55.1 thousand people. This is 9.2 thousand more than a year earlier. The “Professional Income Tax” regime can be used by individuals and entrepreneurs who independently provide services or sell products of their own production, do not have an employer and employees, whose income does not exceed 2.4 million rubles per year. NAP is popular among small businesses due to the convenience of online registration, preferential tax rates of 4% for payments to individuals or 6% for payments to organizations, and the absence of the need to submit reports and use cash register equipment.
