On Thursday, the head of state is holding a traditional meeting with the heads of international news agencies on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

Taking part in the conversation are also the editor-in-chief for international affairs of the world news service of the British agency Reuters Mark Bendyck, the head of the news service of the German DPA Martin Romanchik, and the editor-in-chief - director of the international department of the Spanish EFE Jose Manuel Sanz Mingote.

Among the participants are also the editor-in-chief of the news service for Europe and Africa of the American agency Associated Press (AP), James Jordan, and the editor-in-chief of the news service for Europe and Africa of the French news agency France Presse (AFP), Pierre Ossay.

The meeting is also attended by heads of news agencies from China, India, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
