Israeli President Isaac Herzog recorded New Year's greetings in seven languages using AI

Israeli President Isaac Herzog recorded New Year's greetings to Jewish communities in different countries on the occasion of the upcoming Rosh Hashanah, which was translated into seven languages, including Russian, using AI voice technology.

In his congratulations, the Duke noted that the main symbol of Rosh Hashanah is the shofar - a ritual wind musical instrument made from the horn of an animal. The shrill sound of the shofar, according to the Israeli President, carries three main calls - pride, an inspiring call to action to improve the world and a call to listen to each other.

"Brothers and sisters, the sound of the shofar is not limited by languages, times and places. It unites our people, the great Jewish family, and gives us an opportunity for reflection, pride and awareness of commitment to faith, to each other and to the world... The shofar is a reminder of our ultimate goal, showing how long our journey still is," Duke said.

The appeal was also translated into French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian and Dutch. AI Technologies have made it possible to change the president’s facial expressions, creating the impression that he is pronouncing words in each of these languages.
