VLADIVOSTOK, September 8 - RIA Novosti. The company-owner of the motor ship "Russian Vostok", which on Tuesday was torn from its anchor and ran aground near the lighthouse in Vladivostok, is in the process of bankruptcy, follows from court materials, which RIA Novosti has reviewed.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office was told to RIA Novosti that the Russian Vostok motor ship was torn from its anchor point in the Amur Bay. The ship drifted towards the Tokarevsky lighthouse and ran aground. There were no crew or cargo on the ship, and no pollution of the water area was recorded. The Eastern MSUT of the Russian Investigative Committee began an inspection.

As indicated in the court materials, Russian Vostok TEK LLC, which owns the ship, filed for bankruptcy in June. In August, the court decided to introduce bankruptcy proceedings against the LLC - supervision until February 4, 2027. The court also appointed a temporary manager; consideration of his report will take place on February 4, 2027.

At the end of August, the court accepted for consideration the application of the creditor - PJSC SKB Primorye "Primsotsbank", which asks to include in the register of creditors of the debtor claims under loan agreements in the amounts of 52.4 million rubles and 56.8 million rubles.
