“According to the Ministry of Labor, over the eight months of 2026, about 2,800 social contracts for opening and developing their own businesses were concluded with participants in the special military operation,” the fund said.

They recalled that from the beginning of 2026 such a contract can be concluded without taking into account the average per capita family income. To date, branches of Defenders of the Fatherland have already accepted 4,912 applications for recommendations for concluding a social contract.

“The most popular areas for doing business were manufacturing – 15.1% of the total number of concluded social contracts, car service and vehicle maintenance – 14.8%, agriculture – 10.2%, construction – 10.1%,” the fund reported.

State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, chairman of the fund Anna Tsivileva, whose words were quoted by the press service, noted that the social contract helps veterans of the Northern Military District open or develop their own business, realize their ideas and provide a stable income for the family.
