وجاء في بيان الهيئة أن مطار الملك فهد بالدمام تعرض "لاعتداء مساء اليوم الأحد، وذلك في ظل استمرار الاعتداءات السافرة التي تستهدف مرافق الطيران المدني بالمملكة. وجارٍ استكمال تقييم الأضرار والتحقق من سلامة المرافق؛ بالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة".
كما قال المتحدث باسم "التحالف" تركي المالكي، في بيان مقتضب، أنه "تم اعتراض وتدمير طائرة مسيرة بالمنطقة الشرقية".
