Belarus calls on the UN to condemn the attack on a bus carrying children in the Bryansk region

Belarus appeals to the international community and calls to unconditionally condemn the terrorist attack committed against children on June 17 during the Ukrainian attack on a bus with a children's football team in the Bryansk region. This was stated by Permanent Representative to the UN Valentin Rybakov at an urgent meeting of the Security Council, RIA Novosti reports.

As the speaker emphasized, such actions are a demonstration of a gross violation of international humanitarian law; they threaten international peace and security. In turn, Minsk strongly condemns the inhumane terrorist act and calls on the world community to follow this example, Rybakov noted.

“We call on the UN Security Council to give a comprehensive and exhaustive assessment of this crime,” the permanent representative noted.
