Putin opened the third stage of the Dream Island amusement park in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin, via videoconference, together with Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, took part in the presentation of Moscow infrastructure facilities and opened the third stage of the Dream Island amusement park.

The third stage of the Dream Island park in Nagatinsky Zaton includes five thematic zones with extreme open-air attractions.

After the opening of the third phase of facilities, Dream Island became the largest amusement park in Russia in terms of the number of thematic zones and entered the top 5 amusement parks in the world in terms of the number of mechanical attractions.

On Saturday, Putin and Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin took part in the presentation of Moscow infrastructure facilities via video conference. During the event, the head of state opened the third stage of the Dream Island amusement park.

“Almost 1.5 million people in a month (visit the park - ed.) - this, of course, is impressive. I congratulate you. I remember how you talked about development plans. It’s great that everything is working out in Moscow,” Putin said.

As follows from the materials for the participation of the President of the Russian Federation in the opening of new infrastructure facilities, the third stage of the Dream Island amusement park in Nagatinsky Zaton includes extreme open-air attractions with five thematic zones - “Valley of Explorers”, “Territory of Speed”, “Village of Dreamers”, “City of Dreamers” and “Fisherman’s Bay”. The total area of ​​the park is 200 thousand square meters.

Also, as part of the improvement, about 10 thousand trees and shrubs were planted in the park, 30 food points were created, and the total length of walking paths exceeded five kilometers.

After the opening of the third stage of facilities, Dream Island became the largest amusement park in Russia in terms of the number of thematic zones (15 thematic zones) and entered the top 5 amusement parks in the world in terms of the number of mechanical attractions (more than 60 attractions). The total development area of ​​the park has reached 850 thousand square meters, now “Dream Island” can receive up to 45 thousand people per day.
