Lens beats Slavia Prague 3-2, Bayern defeats Bodo/Glimt 5-0, and Manchester United beats Sabah 4-0 in the first round of the Champions League.

The French team, Lens, achieved an exciting victory over its Czech host, Slavia Prague, with a score of 3/2, in the first round of the European Champions League.

Slovenian Daniel Sturm scored the goal for Slavia Prague in the 51st minute, then Senegalese Abdoulaye Sima Lance equalized in the 73rd minute, and Sturm returned to score the second goal for Slavia Prague in the 88th minute.

But Lance succeeded in coming back from behind to achieve a victory in the fatal time, as veteran Florian Thauvin scored the equalizing goal in the first minute of stoppage time in the second half, and two minutes later Robin Aguilar scored the winning goal, so the French Super Cup champion achieved a valuable victory away from home.

The hosts, Slavia Prague, had played with a numerical disadvantage since the 49th minute due to the expulsion of player Mikolaš Konene.

Lens won the first 3 points in the European Championship campaign, while the Czech team suffered its first defeat.

Slavia Prague will play in the second round away from the Azerbaijani team Sabah on October 13, and on the same day Lens will host its Portuguese counterpart, Sporting Lisbon.

Bayern Munich, Germany, issued a stern warning to the rest of its rivals in the Champions League, after achieving a major 5-0 victory over its guest, Bodo/Glimt, Norway, today, Thursday, in the opening round of the league stage in the continental competition this season.

The goals of the match came in the second half, as Jamal Musiala opened the scoring for Bayern in the 47th minute, while English veteran Harry Kane and Canadian Alphonso Davies added the second and third goals in the 71st and 77th minutes, respectively.

Frenchman Michael Oliset added Bayern's fourth goal in the 83rd minute, before Bodo/Glimt played with ten players after their player Odin Bjortoft was sent off in the 88th minute.

Oliseh returned to score again, after scoring Bayern's fifth goal and his second personal goal in the second minute of stoppage time for the second half.

With that result, Bayern, which is looking to win its seventh Champions League title and first since 2020, obtained the first three points in its career in the competition, while Bodo/Glimt remained without a balance of points.

Bayern will host the Norwegian Viking team in the next round of the continental championship, while Bodo/Glimt will meet its German guest, Borussia Dortmund.

The English Manchester United team achieved a huge victory over its guest, Sabah of Azerbaijan, with a score of 4-0, in the first round of the Champions League.

After being absent from the prestigious European competition for the last 3 years, United returned with a major victory, winning the first 3 points in their campaign.

United's goals were scored by Brazilian Matheus Cunha in the 27th minute, Portuguese Bruno Fernandes in the 42nd minute, then Slovenian Benjamin Cechko in the 45th minute, and Argentine Lisandro Martinez in the 68th minute.

United will play the second round with Atletico Madrid of Spain at the latter's stadium on October 13, while Sabah will meet its guest, Slavia Prague of the Czech Republic.
