China News Service, Beijing, November 3 (Reporter Pang Wuji) China National Energy Group spokesperson Zhao Zhe revealed in Beijing on the 3rd that in the first three quarters of this year, the group's coal production and sales increased by 3.4% year-on-year, power generation increased by 2.1% year-on-year, heat supply increased by 5% year-on-year, and railway freight volume increased by 3.8% year-on-year.

Zhao Zhe revealed at the National Energy Group's third quarter 2026 press conference that day that the group's operating income increased by 5.2% year-on-year in the first three quarters. In terms of the coal industry, the "1+6" coal supply and price stabilization mechanism is operating effectively. In August, the group's self-produced coal volume reached 52.58 million tons, setting a new high for the year. In the power industry, the average daily power generation from July to August reached 4 billion kWh. The scale of industrial heating has expanded, with heat supply increasing by 4.9% year-on-year in the first three quarters.

In terms of the chemical industry, efforts have been made to expand the export scale of advantageous products overseas. In the first three quarters, exports of chemical products increased by 46% year-on-year. In the transportation industry, we will expand the port and station layout of the double-pendulum transportation route of "coal transportation from the north to the south and mines from the south to the north" internally, and externally smooth the transportation channels for Xinjiang coal out of the region.

In terms of investment, we accelerated the construction of coal mine projects such as Dabaodang, comprehensively accelerated the construction of three "Shagehuang" large bases and Hainan offshore wind power projects. The photovoltaic base in the Lingwu coal mining subsidence area of ​​Ningxia was put into operation at full capacity. Longyuan Power Hainan Dongfang offshore wind power was connected to the grid for power generation. The installed capacity of new energy exceeded 148 million kilowatts. To expand the hydrogen energy application market, Ningdong Yongli Hydrogen Production Plant has achieved regular supply of green hydrogen to external units of the group.

In the fourth quarter, Zhao Zhe revealed that the group will strengthen the stable production and supply of coal, strengthen long-term contract performance supervision and the group's integrated internal resource allocation to ensure people's coal demand. Improve the peak capacity of electricity to ensure that it can be generated during peak hours; enhance the ability to ensure the supply of heat.

In terms of investment, he revealed that he will focus on promoting the construction of major projects such as the first and second wells in Xinjie, the new power system in southern Xinjiang, and the Ganqimaodu Port Railway. Promote the construction of large bases in "shago wilderness" such as Tengger in Ningxia and Badain Jaran in Gansu with high quality. Deepen the integrated development of cross-industry new energy, conduct regional and classified research and promote the "grid connection to direct connection" of new energy projects that have been put into operation.
