Tass news agency reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with U.S. President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff and President Trump's eldest son-in-law Jared Kushner, who are visiting Russia on the 5th (local time).

At 12:52 p.m. on this day, Special Envoy Witkov and Kushner arrived at Vnukovo 2 Airport in Moscow, the capital of Russia.

Kirill Dmitriev, President Putin's special envoy for foreign investment and economic cooperation, shared a photo on social media of himself shaking hands with the American delegation who met them at the airport and got off the plane, writing, "Peacemaker Witkov and Kushner, welcome to Moscow."

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed at a briefing that the U.S. delegation was scheduled to meet with President Putin that day.

Also, regarding Special Envoy Witkov and Kushner's plan to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy in Kiev, the Ukrainian capital, on the 6th, he explained, "President Putin ordered the attack on Kiev to be suspended for three days from midnight today," adding, "This is due to Ukraine's ongoing preparations and contacts with the United States."
